Chloe Brostom, LICSW
I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels unrushed, safe, collaborative, and intentional. My work focuses on supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and complex mental health concerns such as bipolar and psychotic disorders. I have extensive experience helping individuals cope with medical trauma and disabilities, including neurological conditions, sensory impairments, and chronic pain.
My approach is centered around healing, empowerment, and positive change. I draw from a range of modalities, including Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Together we can explore where your energy is flowing ~ physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. Self-awareness can then serve as a foundation for growth and balance. I view wellness through a holistic lens, recognizing that fulfillment and stability arise from many sources ~ physical health, social connection, environment, and emotional resilience. I offer accountability in a way that is both lighthearted and direct, encouraging self-compassion and mindfulness along the way.
ART can serve as a powerful and creative therapeutic experience to address specific experiences or symptoms. ART can be helpful in cooling down the emotional distress around certain topics, which then allows individuals to exist with a more regulated nervous system. Reflection, learning, and insight become more accessible when we feel calm and grounded in our bodies.
In my free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, beaching, and being outside with my dog. I will say yes to anything that involves animals, lattes, or a body of water.
