Adam Morgan, LICSW

Adam is a compassionate, driven Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with extensive professional experience in community mental health, group therapy, and individual therapy contexts. Adam received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in social work from Luther College and the University of Minnesota, respectively.

Adam integrates strengths based approaches and accountability into all of his work to support in fostering long-term, personal growth. He also prioritizes collaboration and the development of strong personal connections to provide security and warmth in the therapy space. He possesses extensive experience in supporting people with mood disorders, trauma, grief, identity exploration, and life transitions/adjustments. Adam works with people 14+ and is often exploring additional areas of interest.

Adam primarily utilizes a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) when working with individuals. Knowledge of neurobiological functioning, family systems awareness, and a trauma informed lens are also integrated to enhance these treatment modalities. 

Adam prioritizes wellness, creativity, and connection in his personal life. He spends his free time staying physically active, spending quality time with friends/family, and engaging in multiple creative pursuits.
